The Southern California Association of Camera Clubs is a PSA council member and provides logistical services and competition space for our member clubs which comprise some of the oldest and most competitive clubs in San Diego county. We organize and promote competitive photography through our Member Clubs and provide facilities and galleries for clubs to meet, educate and display their work.
Congratulations to SCACC member, Judy Maclean, who won First Place for her entry in the 2023 PSA Councils’ Challenge on behalf of the Southern California Association of Camera Clubs in the Monochrome Division and took Best in Show of the 12 Council’s who participated in the event.

Prepare to be inspired as Paulette shares her favorite subjects to photograph, accompanied by the fascinating stories that bring them to life.
About Paulette
Paulette Donnellon, an award-winning photographer, passionately captures images of nature and wildlife as a hobby. Her photograph of an Eastern Collared Lizard graces the 2024 America the Beautiful National Park Pass. This was the result of winning the grand prize award in the National Parks Foundation Share the Experience competition in which over 8000 images throughout the United States were submitted. Additionally, she earned the title of California Wildlife Photo of the Year for 2023, with an image of 4 comical Burrowing Owls, and received honors in the State Capital on the floor of the Senate. She also emerged triumphant in the 2023 Americas State Parks Photography competition, securing victory in the wildlife category with an image of an Antelope Ground Squirrel taken in Anza Borrego Desert State Park.
Tuesday Morning members use both film and/or digital cameras and are interested in general photography techniques and the sharing of our images. We are a non-competitive club and have no judged events.
Members and Guests are encouraged to join a monthly photography field trip in the San Diego area. This outing usually takes place on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Location and times will vary and are announced at the regular club meetings.
Join the Darkroomers Photographic Club for their Weekend Workshop Series. Topics vary and workshops are held every other month in the Photographic Arts Building.
